Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as a child as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her love of performing on stage. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for many years prior to attempting TV and movie parts. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she played Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. In addition, she appeared in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. It was not until the end of the 1990s when she was cast in a role in The Practice. The mid-2000's saw her was cast in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully and Deadwood was another film she was a part of. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama The Numbered Days series, which released in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final ending mirrors the last decades of Walter White.
