Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas where she pursued an athletic therapy profession in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas before moving to Orlando Florida where she experienced various acting roles that included local independent films as well as global commercials. Despite the fact that she only had minor parts, De La Garza rapidly realized the passion she had for performing. Then she moved to New York in 2001 and landed her very first acting job as Rosa Santos on All My Children, a daytime soap. In the beginning of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got her first major series role in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza had the delight of working with outstanding TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards in the character's honor, such as Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. In 2008, she received the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding Performances in a Dramatic Television Series. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring character. She was cast in the role of Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent appearance on TV was on Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's slightly darker drama Do No Harm. After two short episodes the show was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is from Italian origin and is the younger sister of Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. Her family was strict and spiritual one. Milano was just seven years older when her babysitter took Milano to an audition. She was one of four girls selected from among over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano appeared in TV commercials and off Broadway shows, like the American first adaptation musical from Jane Eyre.
